The end of the day

During December 21, 2012, the people of the town of Quillagua await the supposed "end of the world" predicted by the Mayans. Quillagua is an oasis located in the middle of the Atacama Desert, which due to the action of mining companies, has its river totally polluted. The land cannot be worked, the young people emigrate and only the elderly are left. For this indigenous community, with an ancestral relationship with the land, this reality is presented as the end of the world.
