Did you know that 2021 was declared by the UN as the International Year of the Creative Economy for Sustainable Development? An important milestone considering that the creative economy is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world (contributing 3% of global GDP) and is also a renewable, sustainable and unlimited resource that we can find anywhere in the world. Its potential to drive inclusive human-centered development has never been more relevant.

Six years earlier, in 2015 and within the framework of the 2030 Agenda, the UN declared the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in order to draw the attention of governments, companies and citizens to the major environmental, social and economic challenges we have as a global community in order to have a more sustainable future.

In the context of all this, Latinoamérica verde TV is born, the first sustainable content streaming that seeks to deliver a cultural offer that, inspired by the SDGs, focuses on people and the planet.
